Entertaiment is a word that can be interpreted in many ways. It can be a form of relaxation for some people, but for others it is a way to make money. The term is also a broad umbrella under which many different genres fall; such as film, music, books and other media. It is interesting to see how some familiar forms of entertainment have been transformed through the use of various technologies and the internet.
The word entertainment derives from the Middle English entrente and the Medieval Latin intertenere, where the prefix in means “inside” and the suffix ten means to stretch.
